Primary Care Video Visit

Video visits with your primary care provider are available during regular clinic hours and cost the same as an in-person visit but with the flexibility of getting care from where it works best for you.

Primary Care video visits are recommended for:

  • Common acute needs like cold, rash, upper respiratory infections, and minor injuries
  • Mental Health: Anxiety, depression, ADHD/ADD
  • Birth control consults
  • Medication follow up
  • Management of chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension
  • Tobacco Cessation

Video visits are not available for well-child exams, adult physicals and conditions that require a physical exam.

How to Get Started with a Video Visit

Getting Connected Is Easy

  1. Schedule a video visit appointment with your provider. You will need a MyChart account.
  2. A few days prior to your appointment, log in to MyChart and complete your eCheck-in.
  3. On the day of your appointment, open MyChart on your desktop or mobile device using Safari or Chrome. Or open the MyChart mobile app on your tablet or smartphone. Set your device to allow pop-ups. Test your speakers, microphone, and camera using the green Test Device button located on your Visits page.
  4. Wait until 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, then log in to MyChart. Go to Appointment > Begin Video Visit > Join VidyoConnect.

You can test your speakers, microphone and camera any time before your next video visit. When logged in to your MyChart account, navigate to the MyChart menu > Video Visits > Test Device
