Who Can Be Treated?

You and your family members aged three months and older are welcome at CentraCare Urgent Care. If your baby is younger than three months old, call your child’s primary care provider for non-emergency care.

If you have chronic or pre-existing conditions, we may refer you to the emergency room to make sure you get the right level of care for your situation.

Emergency Room or Urgent Care?

Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if you or a loved one experience:

  • Chest pain or pressure
  • Compound fracture (when the broken bone breaks through the skin)
  • Head injuries, severe or loss of consciousness
  • Mental health issues
  • Passing or blacking out
  • Physical or sexual assault
  • Seizures
  • Severe abdominal pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sudden, severe headache, or paralysis or weakness
  • Uncontrolled bleeding

Conditions and Symptoms We Treat

Affordable Care Option

Your visit to CentraCare Urgent Care will cost less than a visit to the emergency room. We accept most health insurance plans; co-pays are due during your visit. If you don’t have insurance, you can still receive care. You can pay with cash, check or credit cards.

Walk-In Care Close to Home

Get non-emergency care in rural areas when you need it, close to home. Walk-in care is available at CentraCare primary care clinics in Benson, Long Prairie, New London and Redwood—no appointment is necessary. Like urgent care, walk-in clinics treat common illnesses and minor injuries for your whole family. They may also be more affordable and convenient than other care options.

Can I Get Vaccinations at Urgent Care?

Routine or seasonal vaccinations are not available at our urgent care locations. You can get a Tetanus shot if the care team is treating you for a condition that requires one.

For other vaccines, call 320-200-3200 to find a CentraCare location that can serve you.

Do You Close Early?

We might stop accepting new patients before our posted closing time if we reach a wait time that exceeds what we can manage during our clinic hours. We can only see as many patients as we can handle before closing.
