When to Seek Care for Fertility
You may benefit from reproductive care if any of these criteria apply to you:
- You’re younger than 35 and haven’t conceived after a year of trying
- You’re at least 35 and haven’t conceived after six months
- You have a diagnosed infertility issue
- You’re seeking donor insemination
- You have health issues that make conception harder
Fertility Testing
If you choose to work with us after attending the seminar, you’ll complete a health history packet. A physician will use your information to decide which tests you and your partner need. Then, we’ll make an appointment to discuss your testing plan.
Fertility Treatments
Based on your test results, a clinician may recommend:
- Hormonal supplementation – Taking extra hormones to support conception
- Follicular ultrasound – Tracking the growth of ovarian follicles, which contain the eggs, to help your care team plan the timing of fertility treatments
- Timed intercourse or intrauterine insemination – Planning sex or placing your partner’s or donor’s sperm in the uterus at the right time
- Ovulation induction – Using pills or injections to help your ovaries release eggs
If in vitro fertilization is your best option, ask us about our partnership with clinics that provide this treatment.
