Know Your Heart

Heart Health Checks Are Quick, Easy and Just $99

Learn your risk of a heart attack. Ask your doctor about a coronary calcium scan — a low-dose CT exam that looks for calcified plaque (fat) in your arteries.

Is It Right for Me?

Consider a heart scan if you:

  • Have a family history of heart disease
  • Have high blood pressure or cholesterol
  • Smoke
  • Are obese
  • Have diabetes

Cost & Coverage

The scan is only $99. Most insurance plans don’t cover it. But you can use a flexible spending account, health savings account or health reimbursement account.

Before my dad died of heart problems, I promised him I’d get regular check-ups. That’s how a heart scan found alarmingly high amounts of calcium in my arteries. I was able to get an angiogram that very same day. I appreciate the urgency, thoroughness and care that the cardiology team provided.
