Cesarean Section Suite

If you have a scheduled or emergency Cesarean section (C-section), you’ll deliver in our specialized operating suite. Expect the same high-quality care and support as a vaginal delivery. If there are any problems with your baby’s health, our Level II special care nursery will provide care.

After Your Baby’s Birth

After birth, you’ll enjoy skin-to-skin contact to bond with your baby and, if you choose, begin breastfeeding. Request a certified lactation consultant to help with breastfeeding. You can also give your baby a first bath.

Going Home

You’ll receive a tote bag filled with gifts for you and your baby at discharge. Before leaving the hospital, you must have a properly installed car seat for your baby.

NICU Telehealth Services

Most babies go home within a day or two after you give birth. But some infants need a bit more care. Should that happen, your baby’s care team has a partnership with St. Cloud Hospital for neonatology services, which they can access through telehealth services 24-hours-a-day, allowing your baby to stay closer to home and family.
