Inpatient Care

CentraCare – Rice Memorial Hospital offers you a safe, secure setting for mental health and substance use treatment. When you arrive, we’ll assess your needs, involving your family as appropriate. Together, we’ll make a care plan that may include:

• One-on-one counseling and group therapy
• Psychiatric medications
• Activities that support self-discovery and build communication and social skills
• Education on wellness and relationships
• Leisure and recreational therapy
• Exercise and nutrition recommendations

When you’re ready to leave the hospital, we’ll help you transition to your home or another facility for ongoing care.

Outpatient Services

You can keep your daily routine while taking advantage of outpatient mental health care, including:

• Individual or family therapy with a psychologist or social worker
• Medications prescribed by a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner at CentraCare – Rice Memorial Hospital
• Psychological testing that helps your physician make a diagnosis and recommend treatment (available at CentraCare – Willmar Skylark Clinic)
