    What I Do
My philosophy of care is to approach patient encounters with respect and compassion. When talking with patients, my goals are to ensure they feel heard, gain a better understanding of their ailments and collaborate with me on an actionable treatment plan through shared decision-making.

I practice a broad spectrum of general surgery, from minor procedures such as lipoma removal and skin biopsy to complex procedures. My specific clinical interests are minimally invasive abdominal surgery, which includes using the da Vinci robot and laparoscopy for hernia repairs, gallbladder removal and colon surgery. I provide surgical management for groin and abdominal hernias, breast cancer, colon cancer and diverticulitis, anorectal disease, skin cancer, including melanoma, gallbladder disease, reflux, splenic cyst and indications for splenectomy, upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, peritoneal dialysis catheter placement and temporal artery biopsy.

    Getting to Know Me
My most rewarding hobby is exploring my daughter’s interests and curiosities. I enjoy going outdoors with my family for a hike, bike ride and downhill skiing.
