    What I Do
An essential part of practicing medicine is treating patients with compassion and respect, regardless of their backgrounds or circumstances. I strive to provide meaningful care to my patients and establish confidence in the patient-provider relationship. I establish health goals and work collaboratively with physicians and specialty providers, as needed, to help my patients manage their health conditions. My goal is for my patients to feel they have been treated with respect and that they receive the care they need.

My clinical interests include acute care, preventative medicine, chronic disease management, women’s health, mental health and community health.

    Why I Love My Work
I enjoy being a part of my patients’ health journeys, providing meaningful care and empowering patients to make informed decisions. Additionally, I enjoy motivating patients to prioritize their health and reach their health goals.

    Getting to Know Me
I have always had an interest in healthcare and was inspired by my family members in the medical field. Prior to PA school, I worked as a certified nursing assistant, patient care extender and medical scribe in the emergency department. I also worked in dermatology, electrophysiology and plastic surgery. These experiences inspired me to pursue medicine. I chose family medicine because I have a passion for preventative health and enjoy finding and solving problems before they arise. I also enjoy the variety family medicine provides and I value building relationships with my patients throughout their lives.

Outside of work, I love to read and participate in book clubs! I love to travel. My favorite place that I have traveled to is Peru. I also enjoy hiking, running, outdoor walks, yoga and Pilates. I grew up in Central Minnesota and this makes the work I do for the community so much more special. I am passionate about the things that are important to me, and I always find time to advocate for causes significant to me.
