    Biography

    What I Do
I believe in patient- and family-centered care. Determining the patients’ goals for wellness is essential in providing exceptional care. I always keep in mind individuals are not defined by their illnesses as health is multifaced and often looks different to each patient.

My clinical interests include therapeutic endoscopy, gastrointestinal neoplasia and hepatobiliary, Crohn’s and inflammatory bowel disease.

    Why I Love My Work
I enjoy guiding my patients to a solution that works well for them, improving their understanding of health and creating a positive relationship between provider and patient. I specifically enjoy working with the adult-geriatric rural population.

    Getting to Know Me
I was motivated to go into health care by my Mom. She worked as a nurse and instilled in me the importance of helping others. She was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease several years ago. I saw how her providers impacted her quality of life and I wanted to do the same for others.

Outside of work, my interests include spending time with my animals, hiking and RV traveling with my husband. I love to rescue animals, most recently a bearded dragon. I was born in Colorado and enjoy horseback riding and river rafting.
