  Biography

  What I Do
  As a family nurse practitioner, my goal is to provide patient-focused care that addresses immediate health concerns while promoting the well-being of the whole person.

  My clinical interest is in acute care, with over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine.

  Why I Love My Work
  I enjoy the variety urgent care provides. Engaging with new patients on a daily basis keeps my job rewarding, interesting and enjoyable.

  Getting to Know Me
  An occupation in healthcare has always been an interest of mine. I did an emergency room rotation as a nursing student. I admired the knowledge and expertise of the staff and looked forward to the diverse population I would be caring for.

  Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, hiking with my husband, working out and chasing my two dogs around. A unique fact about me is that I almost accepted a job as a police officer but chose to enter nursing school instead.
